If the lactating person has Wellpoint (formerly Unicare) insurance, I will bill their insurance plan directly. I bill conservatively, so there is almost always no cost-sharing to the patient (no co-pays or deductible payments).

Wellpoint Initial and Follow-Up Consults can be In-Home or Office.
Return to Work and Weaning Consults must be Office visits.
Wellpoint Prenatal consults may be Office (45 minutes) or Virtual (30 minutes).

All In-Home Consults are subject to a $50 Home Visit Convenience Fee. You can avoid this fee by booking an Office Consult. Typically, this is the only money you will owe, there are usually no co-pays or deductible payments with my billing structure.
Click here for a map of available Home Visit towns. If you are outside of my travel radius, you’re welcome to book a consult at my office in Beverly.

If your baby does not have Wellpoint insurance, there will be a $100 fee that is not eligible for insurance coverage. You can submit an out-of-network reimbursement request to their insurance company, but I cannot guarantee reimbursement.
